Adding Behaviors to the Goal Plan is an easy process. Behaviors are pulled from the Patient Behavior list in the Behavior Objectives area of the system. A separate tutorial has been created to add behaviors to the patient behavior list.
From the Patient Navigation tree, select the Patient Behavior list to review the behaviors that have already been entered.
Additional behaviors can be added to this list by clicking +New
This is the form for creating a new behavior.
Now let's navigate to the goal plan.
Click Goal Plans
Open a goal plan that has already been started by clicking on the Goal Plan name.
Click Plan Items:
Click +Add
Click Behaviors
Select the behavior or behaviors that should be added to the goal plan.
Click Select
In the Goal Plan Builder, select the collection type for the behavior. I'm going to remove "Duration" as an option for scoring by removing the check mark.
Click Add
Now that behavior has been added to the Goal Plan along with a few other behaviors that had been added previously. Now I'll show you how to create a new behavior that is not already in the list. Click +Add
Click Behaviors
Click +New
Select a Topography:
Create a name for the behavior (64 Character Limit)
The Description field does not have a character limit. Include a detailed description of the behavior here.
When done, press Save
It will automatically appear in the list and be selected for you. Press Select
For this behavior, I'm going to remove Discrete Trial as a collection option, which will remove both Frequency and Duration score type.
I will add an interval by checking the interval box.
Define your interval by selecting the interval type, how many intervals and for the total number of minutes that interval data will be collected. Our system will calculate the interval length based on those factors.
When the interval is defined, press Add
Elopement is now in the behavior section of the goal plan and defined as an interval.
Make sure to Save your goal plan with changes.
That's it!
But, let's take a quick look at the Patient Behavior list one more time so you can see where Elopement is now stored for edits.
Click Patient Behaviors
Right Here! Creating a new behavior while working on the Goal Plan will store the behavior in the Patient Behaviors page for edits, management or behavior plan creation can occur.
That's it. You're done.
