17 STEPS
1 The first step is to open Pathfinder™
2 Click your patient initials to open the navigation tree
3 Click Behavior Objectives to access all behavior pages
4 Click Patient Behaviors
5 Click +New
6 Required fields to create a patient behavior is Topography, Name and Description. Click green highlight
7 Select from the pre-defined list of topographies. There is an Other/Undefined topography if a behavior doesn't fit into one of the others.
8 Next Give your Behavior a name. Behavior Name is limited to 64 Characters.
9 Description is also required. This field does not have a character limit so you can be as descriptive and detailed as you'd like when providing a description of the behavior. Both Description and Name will appear on Scout for data collection.
10 The Function is not required and can be added or edited, along with the other fields, at any time. There are graphing and reporting options based on function. Select the function/s that apply to the behavior.
11 Click Save
12 Click Close
13 Click Yes
14 Pulling hair now appears in my patient behavior list. It is now available to be added to a goal plan or score sheet, used in an ABC report, or have a behavior plan created.
15 To make edits to an existing behavior, click on the behavior name. Click Pulling Hair
16 Edits can be made to any of these fields and will apply changes throughout the system upon save.
17 That's it. You're done.
