1 To work offline, you must have an internet connection to prepare for offline mode.
In order to use Offline mode, you will need a PIN, so if you haven't set up a PIN, please do so.
A PIN is a 4 digit code. Press the check mark when done.
2 Click Save PIN
3 Work Offline
4 Only score sheets that are assigned to you can be taken offline. From this list, select up to 6 score sheets that you'll want to access while the tablet is offline. Click on the row to select. Click Begin Work Offline
5 At this time, Scout will work to download those score sheets to your device. When the process is complete, you will recieve this message. Click Login in Offline Mode
6 When you are ready to collect data on the offline score sheets, navigate to the Scout site and enter your 4-digit PIN.
If a PIN has not been created, you will not be able to login in offline mode.
7 *If the device senses an internet connection, you will receive this message. If there is no internet connection, this message will not display. If you receive this message and intend continue to work in offline mode, click Continue Offline
8 Open your score sheets just like you would in online mode.
Up to 6 score sheets can be open at a time and side swiping right to left will show additional score sheets.
In this tutorial I have 2 score sheets open. This one is Jackson's
9 Side swiping to the left will show my other score sheet for Cody.
10 Score the score sheet/s just as you would in online mode.
11 When you are done entering your scores for the entire session, click Lock
12 Optional: Enter Session Summary notes, Insurance codes or time spent with patient.
Required: Click Lock
13 Choose the option you want to do.
Continue Working: submits the session & all data. Keeps the score sheet open but opens a new session.
Close: Closes this score sheet, keeps any other score sheets open. If no other score sheets are open, takes you home
14 Repeat steps for any additional score sheets that may be open.
15 Click Lock
16 Again, click Lock
17 The Logout button appears as an option after data has been locked and no other score sheets are open.
18 When it's time to transfer data back to the server, access an internet connection and then navigate to your Scout site.
The device will remain in offline mode until data is transferred and the device is put back in Online mode.
Enter your 4-digit PIN
19 As soon as you login and an internet connection is sensed, this message will appear. Select Transfer and Go Online
Tip: If no internet connection is detected, try logging out and logging back in until this message appears.
20 A list of score sheets that are offline will appear in this list, click Transfer and Go Online
21 After loading, this success message appears. Wait for this message before navigating away from the page. At thsi time, your data has been transferred successfully. You can now login in Online mode and complete the process again.
22 That's it. You're done.
