There are a variety of reports and charts that can be generated and exported.
To access charts and reports:
- Navigate to the Charts & Reports module
- A list of all reports and charts that can be generated will display on the left-hand side. Select a report to run.
- There are two report formats in the system. The difference between these two can be determined by the icon related to the report.
- Legacy format within the report viewer.
- Those with an updated format that will now download and open a Word or Excel document.

3. Enter the required parameters in the pop-up, set a desired file name, and then click Run.
4. Other reports will display like the one below. Select the "Report Parameters" and click Run. This pop-up also allows users to click the buttons directly to “Print” and “Generate a PDF.”
5. When “Run” is selected, users will see the HIPAA warning pop-up, which indicates they are leaving CR Essentials. Select Yes, If you are working on a device you believe to be compliant.
6. The report will not appear on the screen in a viewer as it does with those in the legacy format. They will now be found at the bottom of the screen in the download tray.
Please note, if users are running a large report, the system will prompt an "Alert!" pop-up, stating: "We noticed this report is taking a long time to generate, when it's finished it will appear in the Download Center. Would you like us to take you there now?" Select Yes or No.
